I expected to have to wait longer for them. They were shipped out in a timely manner and were well packaged.Second, I was very pleased with how sturdy and durable these utensils are. They are great quality and well worth the price. Each utensil is all in one solid piece, which I much prefer over the ones that are attached to a wooden or plastic handle. Not only do those kind break easily, but I do not feel that they are as sanitary as one would want a kitchen utensil to be as it is not always easy to make sure you have cleaned all of the gunk out of the area where the handle is attached. And, these have a hard durable core within the handles, which makes them just heavy and sturdy enough to not be flimsy but still lightweight enough to be a pleasure to grip and work with. Every one of them is essentially made the same way. In this I mean that they each are just one continuous solid piece of silicone. This is the best design I've seen and used for a spatula. I have other spatulas that have a head and handle. They can be separated from each other for cleaning, but the separation also leaves room for food to get inside the head and around the handle joint. That is not a good thing if you forget to take it apart and clean it after each use. With the Daixers Silicone spatula set, it is very very easy to keep clean. The silicone material itself seems to resist stains and food particles of all kinds, so you can almost just wipe them off after use ! But if you do actually clean them with soap and water, it is extremely easy to remove everything and get back to the brand new clean condition.
